Brymec were relocating to a new larger premises, however, in the chosen building there were no toilet or restroom facilities in the warehouse and so we were contacted to design and quote for a washroom fit out and plumbing for an adjacent tea point with the nearest water supply being over 50m away.

The brief was for a tough, hardwearing washroom, easy to clean, that will be in use long hours by warehouse and driving operatives.

Our proposal was for Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) Cubicles with SAA hardware, a post formed SGL vanity top and under panels, SGL floor to ceiling duct panelling behind the urinals and toilet pans, and SGL modesty panels for the urinals.

We specified semi recessed basins with single lever mixer taps, Grohe concealed cisterns with large easy push button and wall hung pans. We chose concealed trap urinals with all pipework safely concealed by the duct panelling, the urinals to only flush on occupation with a ceiling mounted PIR switching a solenoid valve, to prevent water wastage during hrs when building is closed.

We were to run the cold water supply from existing supply location to a new area of staff facilities and carry out all plumbing, soil and waste work including to supply and install 2no point of use water heaters.

The flooring was to have non slip safety Vinyl capped and coved up the walls, with the walls clad in white hygienic wall cladding, thereby creating a room where all surfaces and walls could be easily cleaned and wiped down.

A high speed hand dryer and large mirror were also installed.

This work was all completed in a tight time scale.  We received the Purchase Order on the 4^th December 2019 and needed to carry out first fix plumbing 3 days later on the 9^th December to enable other works to proceed.  We then got the cubicle panels manufactured and out to site by Friday 20^th December and, with our guys working over the weekend, we completed the bulk of the work before Christmas day with some minor finishing on the 27^th December, so it was all ready for the new year.
